18 killed as bus rams milk tanker on Lucknow-Agra Expressway

KANPUR/PATNA: At least 18 people, including three women and a 10-year-old boy, were killed and 19 injured when a sleeper

bus

crashed into a

milk tanker

on

Lucknow-Agra Expressway

near Bangarmau in UP's Unnao district on Wednesday morning.
The bus was heading to Delhi from Sheohar in Bihar. Survivors and eyewitnesses alleged the bus driver was drunk and speeding.
Except tanker driver Sunil Kumar, who was from Rae Bareli, all the deceased, including bus driver Akhlaq, were from four Bihar districts - eight from East Champaran (including six of a family from Motihari), six from Sheohar, two from Sitamarhi and one from Gopalganj.
