QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two people, including a 15-year-old, were shot while sitting in a car in Queens on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.
It happened near 183rd Street and 143rd Avenue around 7:25 p.m. A 23-year-old man and the teenager were in a Mercedes Benz when two men approached the rear of the car and fired multiple rounds, according to authorities.
The man was shot in the leg, while the teenager was shot in the face, police said.
The men fled the scene northbound on 183rd Street toward 141st Avenue, according to authorities.
The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and the teenager was brought to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
The first man was last seen wearing a black and white baseball cap, white t-shirt, light blue jeans and red and black Nike Jordan sneakers.
The second man was last seen wearing red and white Nike Jordan sneakers, green and white tie-dye shorts, an olive green t-shirt and a white t-shirt covering his face.
