is reportedly down for several users globally. Users have already started reporting the issue via X.
Downdetector
, a platform that keeps track of status for apps and services, has also seen a spike in users' reports about YouTube not working.
According to Downdetector, users started to report the issue starting at 6:42pm. YouTube hasn’t officially acknowledged the issue and hasn’t provided any reason behind it as of now.
Issue users are facing
Based on the user's post on X, several users are facing issues while accessing the
subscription page
on YouTube.
The outage appears to affect both mobile apps and the web. However, Downdetector shows that the issue is more apparent on the mobile as around 62% users have reported that they are facing issues on mobile.
As per the X posts, users have reported that they are getting “Something went wrong” error when accessing the Subscription tab on YouTube.
A user named kaleb who goes by the handle @mxvalkyrie worte, “is
youtube down
for y'all too... my subscription tab isn't working”. “Is anyone else's #YouTube subscriptions down? No matter how many times I refresh it it just still says "Something went wrong, reads the post from another user.
Apart from these two, there are several other reports from users about the Subscription page not working for them.
TOI-GadgetsNow also checked for the issue and the Subscription page on both mobile and web was working fine at the time of writing this article. However, as we mentioned only some users are facing this issue.
