“BOWERY! You ROCKED!” the entertainer wrote on his social media account.

On Tuesday, the rock legend announced that he would perform an impromptu show at the venue. Tickets were sold only physically at the venue, one per person, and all were snapped up within 30 minutes.

McCartney took the stage roughly at 6:30 p.m. with his regular band and a three-member horn section.

On Wednesday, the multi-grammy-winning star, whose career spans decades, will take the stage at The Bowery Ballroom again. Just like the surprise show on Tuesday, tickets were immediately sold out.

“Sold out. Please refrain from lining up at the venue tonight unless you have a ticket. No tickets will be available at the door,” read a social media post from The Bowery Ball Room.

The Lower East Side venue has a capacity of 575 people.
