With intriguing menu options like The Cherry Bomb pizza — featuring meatballs, bacon, hot cherry peppers, mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes — the Kingsbridge Social Club at 3625 Kingsbridge Ave. in Kingsbridge is a spot to check out. Membership is not required to dine in.
Brooklyn
Located at 330 South 3rd St. in Williamsburg, the Dough Vale is known for its low-gluten dough, made of five different types of flour (Semolina, Rice Flour, Soy Flour, Spelt Flour, and Corn Flour). A notable item on the menu to consider is the U Zu Nitto, a half-pizza/half-calzone.
Based at 254 South 2nd St. in Williamsburg, L'Industrie Pizzeria offers both whole pies and pizza by the slice (in-store only). While some shudder at the thought of it, adventurous pizza lovers should try the Fig Jam and Bacon Pie.
Manhattan
Located just minutes away from bustling Times Square, this cozy pizzeria offers an array of wallet-friendly slices perfect for a quick bite on the move. Whole pies and gluten-free pizzas are also available.
Boasting pizzas made with locally sourced produce to imported Italian specialties, Nolita Pizza is a top destination for authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is located at 68 Kenmare St. in Lower Manhattan.
Searching for a variety of toppings? This local establishment offers a wide range of items from traditional margherita to ones topped with pepperoni, jalapeño, and chili-infused honey. Check out the extensive menu at 301 West 57th St., just steps from Central Park.
Song'E Napule Pizzeria & Trattoria
Usually, a restaurant that claims to have the best pizza in NYC might raise some eyebrows, but the reviews so far have been excellent. Song'E Napule has several locations, including at 146 West Houston St. in Greenwich Village and 464 Amsterdam Ave. on the Upper East Side.
Hailing from Napoli and Piacenza, owners Elena and Matteo originally ran a restaurant on Elba Island in Tuscany for five years. Now, they are bringing Italian culture and food to Harlem, serving authentic Neapolitan pizza at 227 Malcolm X Blvd.
At Stone Bridge, diners can indulge in farm-to-table artisanal pizzas with crunchy crusts. The restaurant also offers six frozen artisanal pizza squares that you can heat up in the office or at home. The restaurant is located at 16 East 41st St. in Midtown.
Does pizza made with fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets and house-made Italian ice sound appetizing? Look no further! Vito's Slices and Ices at 464 Ninth Ave., near Hudson Yards, is a perfect spot for a quick bite and a cold treat to cool you down.
Queens
A quick glance at the menu might leave some customers confused, with pizzas named Spicy Mikey, Ninja Turtle, and Raging Bull, but rest assured, Philomena's is a top spot for all pizza lovers. Located at 41-16 Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside, the restaurant boasts a rating of 4.6 stars on Yelp.
