Whether you are in the mood for New York-style pizza, known for its hand-tossed thin crust and large foldable slices, or wood-fired artisan pizza, there's nothing like a good slice on a hot summer day.

The sheer number of pizzerias in New York City can be overwhelming when trying to choose where to go. Yelp staff recently identified restaurants with a high concentration of reviews mentioning pizza and ranked those spots using several factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews.

Kingsbridge Social Club

With intriguing menu options like The Cherry Bomb pizza — featuring meatballs, bacon, hot cherry peppers, mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes — the Kingsbridge Social Club at 3625 Kingsbridge Ave. in Kingsbridge is a spot to check out. Membership is not required to dine in.
