At 22 years and 49 days, Jaiswal became the third youngest player to score two Test double centuries behind Vinod Kambli and Don Bradman. He is also the third Indian after Kambli and
Virat Kohli
to hit 200s in two successive Tests.
Jaiswal also hit 12 sixes in his knock, equalling Wasim Akram's record for most sixes in single innings. He has hit 22 sixes this series, most by a batter in a Test series.
In a remarkable debut in the international arena, Sarfaraz etched his name among the elite, becoming only the fourth Indian to achieve twin half-centuries on Test debut.
Displaying an aggressive style of play, Sarfaraz took on the spinners. In the first innings, he scored 62 runs off 66 balls, featuring nine fours and a six. In the second innings, he remained unbeaten with a score of 68 off 72 balls, including six fours and three sixes.
