Worker injured after falling down a hole at Brooklyn construction site: FDNY

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Two workers were injured at construction sites in Brooklyn on Monday, including one that fell into a 10-foot hole, officials said.

Authorities pulled the worker out of the hole at the site at 150 Lawrence St. near Willoughby and Fulton streets Downtown at around 11:10 a.m., according to the FDNY. The worker was rushed to the hospital in unknown condition.

Several firefighters were seen strapping the man onto a stretcher and pulling it up a ladder to get to street level, according to video from the scene.

Hours before that incident, authorities found an unconscious worker at a construction site at 380 Fouth Ave. in Park Slope at around 9:20 a.m., officials said.  The worker was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other information was immediately available about the two accidents.
