BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A construction worker was killed when a floor collapsed in Brooklyn Friday, police said.
The first floor of the building on 50th Street in Borough Park collapsed around 12:10 p.m. Several workers were trapped in the collapse, officials said.
A spokesperson for the Department of Buildings said the construction site was not legal nor were there permits.
