Woman struck by No. 3 train after pushed onto tracks in Manhattan: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A woman was pushed onto the train tracks and struck by the No. 3 train in Lower Manhattan, authorities said.

A responsive 29-year-old woman was discovered by police officers on the tracks at 10:26 a.m. inside the Fulton Street Station, according to the NYPD. A southbound No. 3 train struck the victim after she was shoved onto the train tracks, authorities report.

First responders rushed the victim to a hospital for treatement. It is unclear the extent of injuries, police said.

Investigators believe a domestic dispute led to the incident, police sources said.
