MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A woman was sexually assaulted by a suspect riding a scooter inside Central Park on Wednesday, authorities said.
Investigators said a 30-year-old woman was jogging in the park at 6:30 p.m. near 70 West Drive, according to the NYPD. The suspect was riding a blue Razor scooter, authorities said.
After hopping od his scooter the suspect walked up to the victim and grabbed her waist from behind while rubbing himself against her, before fleeing on his scooter, authorities report.
The victim was not physically injured in the attack, authorities said.
This incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Manhattan Special Victims Squad.
