BAYONNE, N.J. (PIX11) -- A woman's body was pulled out of Newark Bay in Bayonne, New Jersey, on Tuesday, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
The Hudson County Sheriff's Department got a call that a woman was found in the water near Stephen R. Gregg Park around 1:30 p.m., authorities said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified, officials said.
The cause of death is still pending the results from the medical examiner but confirmed there were not any visible signs of trauma found, officials told PIX11 News.
