Woman on scooter hit and killed in Queens: NYPD

FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) – A woman riding an electric scooter was hit and killed in Queens Wednesday, police said.

The crash happened near College Point Boulevard and Blossom Avenue in Flushing around 10 a.m., according to officials.

4 people arrested after body parts found across Long Island: SCPD

An SUV driver made a left turn on Blossom Avenue and fatally struck a 61-year-old woman on a scooter, police said.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene, police said. No charges have been announced.

The crash remained under investigation.
