Woman found dead with head injury in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A woman was found unresponsive at a NYCHA building on Monday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police responded to a 911 call and arrived at 2625 3rd Avenue at around 1 a.m.

Teen accused of killing 17-year-old girl near Queens subway station

Serena Barrios, 30, was found unconscious and unresponsive with an injury to the back of her head, police said.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
