Woman, 84, shot while sitting on walker in Brooklyn: NYPD

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) – An 84-year-old woman was shot while she was sitting on a walker in Brooklyn Monday, according to the NYPD.

It happened at Brooklyn and Foster avenues in East Flatbush around 6:50 p.m. The woman was not the intended target of the shooting, according to authorities.

She was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County for a gunshot wound to her arm.

Several individuals were seen running from the intersection after the shooting, witnesses told police.
