Woman, 67, elbowed in the face in the Bronx: NYPD

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for a man after a 67-year-old woman was attacked in the Bronx Monday morning, according to the NYPD.

The assault happened near Jerome Park around 11:30 a.m., police said. The man approached the woman and struck her in the face with his elbow, according to authorities.

Police said he then fled northbound on Jerome Avenue. The woman refused medical attention, according to authorities.

Police describe the man as last seen wearing gold glasses, a blue/black knit hat and an orange winter coat.
