FLATLANDS, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A 66-year-old woman was brutally attacked in Brooklyn on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
She was standing at the intersection of East 40th Street and Hubbard Place in Flatlands around 4:45 p.m. when a man approached her, per police. The man then punched and kicked her multiple times in the head, according to authorities.
The suspect fled on foot going westbound on Avenue K toward Flatbush Avenue, per police.
The victim sustained a laceration to the head and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital.
The suspect was last seen wearing black glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue sweatpants and gray shoes, according to authorities.
