Winter mocktail recipes to try after Dry January

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Dry January may be coming to a close, but you can still mix in some mocktails throughout the winter.

Mixologist Nicole Young, founder of Frisky Whisky, joined PIX11 News to share her favorite winter mocktail recipes.

Things To Do Around NYC

On Wednesday, Young will teach a mocktail and cocktail-making class at Hello Bar in Brooklyn from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The class costs $45 and includes light bites and a free cocktail. For more information on the "Zero to Frisky" class, click here.

Winter sorrel tea-ni

  • Premium sorrel 
  • Apple cider 
  • Chilled ginger tea
  • Splash of ginger beer 
  • Citrus slice garnish

Black velvet sparkler 

  • Seraphim Cacao Botanical 
  • Chilled espresso 
  • Splash of cream soda 
  • Cherry skewer for garnish

Siren Chai 

  • Chai simple syrup (50/50 chai tea and brown sugar)
  • Non-alcoholic whiskey
  • Vanilla extract 
  • Splash of cream  
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish 

Berry elegant spritz 

  • Blueberry simple syrup 
  • Fresh lemonade
  • Bitters 
  • Almond extract
  • Club soda
  • Thyme sprig for garnish
