There is a website called Pollen.com that provides an allergy forecast for the next five days. It also tells you the top allergens in your area.
For New York City, Thursday experienced a medium-high rating, while on Friday, New Yorkers will get a break with low-medium levels, according to Pollen.com. The city is predicted to have two more medium-high allergy days in the next five days.
