NEW YORK (PIX11) – The massive draw of visitors to the path of the total solar eclipse comes with the concern of a strain on cellular bandwidth.

But major cellphone industry players reportedly have no worries.

Avoid getting a traffic ticket during the solar eclipse in New York

Service providers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon told CNN they're prepared for a surge in demand in areas expected to see much higher than usual cell traffic.

T-Mobile has deployed extra temporary service sites and other providers have noted their increase in 5G service since the last North American total solar eclipse.
