sports hernia
.
The top T20 batter in the world sustained the injury during last month's tour of South Africa. The surgery took place in Germany and he anticipates a full recovery, which is expected to take at least a month.
"Surgery done. I want to thank everyone for their concerns and well wishes for my health, and I am happy to tell you all that I will be back very soon," Surya posted on X (formerly Twitter).
