A familiar face in Dane Jackson will be back with the Buffalo Bills this season.
Even so, Jackson is going to look a bit difference.
In his prior stint with the team, Jackson wore the No. 30 at cornerback. Now he's onto No. 23.
But Jackson did make sure to ask permission to do so.
During OTAs, Jackson was asked about his new number. Previously it was worn by safety Micah Hyde, Jackson's former teammate.
Jackson technically did not have to ask for permission to take the number, but out of respect he did contact Hyde... and Hyde approved.
"Micah was like 'take my number, take my locker, take everything,'" Jackson said. "I had to check with big bro first."
