NEW YORK (PIX11) – Little Island in Manhattan is a hotspot if you're looking for something to do in New York City.
The park recently hosted Childish Gambino, who held a one-night-only concert ahead of the release of his final album, "Bando Stone & The New World."
But where can you find this "little island?"
Little Island, also known as Pier 55, is within Hudson River Park along West 13th Street. It originally opened during the pandemic in May 2021 and replaced a dilapidated Pier 54, according to the Hudson River Park's website.
The island is also home to a nearly 700-seat amphitheater called The Amph, along with a performance space that can seat 200 people known as The Glade.
Tickets for The Amph are capped at $25. Music, choreographed dance and even a radio show will all take the stage this summer.
The park is open from 6 a.m. to midnight. To buy tickets for The Amph, click here.
