Neetu mentioned, "We had a fabulous time, especially with Yash ji ( Chopra ). We should party in the night, play antakshi, play dumb charades. So, that was like one picnic. That was really-really fun. But I had this Rishi Kapoor as my boyfriend. So, I never partied-partied. Because he was always like, yeh nahi karna, woh nahi karna, ghar aajao. So, I've never seen that wild side of partyingin those days."

She further mentioned," I was committed and I had a very strict mother and a very strict boyfriend. So, I was torn between both of them."
Neetu and Rishi Kapoor first met on the set of 'Zehrela Insaan' in the 1970s. What followed was a unique story of friendship, playful banter, and a love that grew over time, capturing the hearts of audiences and leaving a lasting impact on Indian cinema.
Their bond strengthened during the filming of "Kabhie Kabhie" in 1976, evolving from a strong friendship into a deep love. This solid foundation led to their private wedding on January 22, 1980.
