NEW YORK (PIX11) – The start of daylight saving time in 2024 is approaching, now just under three weeks away.
Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 10 this year. Clocks will “spring forward” an hour at 2 a.m. that day, meaning we will lose an hour of sleep.
The start of daylight saving time also means there will be more light in the evening.
Daylight saving time lasts from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November.
Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, Nov. 3. Clocks will “fall back” an hour at 2 a.m. and we’ll gain an hour of sleep.
