According to WABetaInfo, the ability to share music audio during a video call while the screen-sharing option is active is presently in the developmental stage.
“WhatsApp has plans to release a feature that enables all participants in a video call to collectively listen to video and music audio when someone shares their screen, as shown in the attached screenshot. In fact, any audio played on a device with the screen sharing option enabled will be shared with others in the call,” mentions the report.
