is reportedly working on a new feature which will enable the users to edit stickers.
As reported by WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned app has started rolling out a new sticker editor feature. The feature is presently available for
iOS
beta testers and users need to install the update version 23.10.0.74 to access the feature.
After installing the update, users will see an option to create personalised sticker by selecting one from the conversation.
Furthermore, an alternative entry point to this feature is available through the sticker keyboard. Certain beta testers now have access to a new button that allows them to create a sticker. In these cases, when selecting a photo from the library, WhatsApp triggers the drawing editor, automatically highlighting the subject within the image.
“It’s worth noting that it’s also possible to edit existing stickers by selecting the “Edit sticker” action, expanding the flexibility and customization options for users and enabling them to express themselves creatively and better in their conversations. In addition, users can create stickers from shared images by selecting the share action,” mentions the report.
WhatsApp working on Apple SharePlay-like feature
Recent reports indicate that WhatsApp is in the process of developing a new feature enabling users to share audio and video during video calls. As per WABetaInfo, this functionality will be accessible to users when the screen-sharing feature is activated during video calls.
Effectively an extension of the existing screen-sharing feature, this new capability allows users to share both audio and video content during video calls. Currently, WhatsApp's screen-sharing feature permits users to share non-protected video content with others in the course of a video call. With this enhancement, users can now share and collectively listen to audio content with all participants in the video call.
