ACCESS NYC is a city website that enables New Yorkers and their families to check their potential eligibility for benefits, even if they are currently receiving them or have a job.
“ACCESS NYC doesn't start your application process automatically,” reads the 311 website. “Once you screen for benefit programs, you must follow the instructions to learn how to apply. The agencies that administer each program will make the final eligibility determination.”
From cash assistance and support with expenses to help with childcare, ACCESS NYC will let you know what programs you may be eligible for.
Some program categories available on ACCESS NYC are childcare, education, food, family services, employment, financial assistance, city ID cards, and housing programs.
