NEW DELHI: Mayank Yadav's exceptional performances in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have not only garnered attention but have also sparked hopes for a national call-up.
Expressing her delight, Mamta Yadav, Mayank's mother, shared her joy and aspirations for her son's future in cricket.
"We are so happy that our son (Mayank Yadav) is playing and doing well, we struggled a lot for this, and a lot of hard work is behind in his journey.
We hope that he will play for India soon as many former cricketers are talking about him," Mamta told ANI.
Mayank Yadav, hailing from Delhi, has been setting new standards of pace in the IPL, impressing fans and experts alike. In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the 21-year-old consistently clocked speeds over 150kph, leaving opposition batters dumbfounded.
In a recent clash against Royal Challengers Bangaluru (RCB), Mayank unleashed his fiery pace, dismantling the likes of Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green with sheer accuracy. His spell of three for 14 played a pivotal role in LSG's comfortable victory, showcasing his ability to thrive under pressure.

Mayank's impact wasn't confined to a single game, as he continued his stellar run in the IPL.
