Sudarshan noted a significant improvement in batting conditions during the second innings, which allowed Gujarat's batsmen to capitalize on scoring opportunities. He remarked, "The wicket was not easy to bat on... but it got a little better after the first innings, and it was easier for our hitters to smash."
Acknowledging the team's resilience and strategic approach, Sudarshan credited Gujarat's strong performance in the powerplay, even amidst the loss of a few early wickets. He affirmed, "Definitely, a very good powerplay was one of our plans... We lost a few wickets back-to-back but we had belief and we won the game."
