WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik results: Amidst great anticipation, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has revealed the results for the Madhyamik 10th examinations 2024, sparking celebrations among students, parents, and educators across the state. The overall pass percentage has soared to an impressive 86.31%, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the student community.
A remarkable 1,18,411 students have achieved the prestigious first division, constituting an impressive 12.98% of the total number of students who appeared for the examination.
This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment and perseverance of students in their academic pursuits.

46 candidates withheld
Additionally, WBBSE has reported that the examination results for 46 candidates have been withheld, while the exams for an additional 2 candidates have been canceled. These cases will undergo further review and assessment to ensure the fairness and integrity of the examination process.
Another notable highlight is the significant increase in the number of female candidates appearing for the Madhyamik 10th examinations. Out of a total of 9.10 lakh students who appeared for the exam, 5.08 lakh were female candidates, marking a positive trend in gender representation in the academic domain.
Chandrachur Sen: Leading the Pack
The results also spotlight individual achievements, with top scorers from various schools across the state. Chandrachur Sen from Rambhola High School, Cooch Behar, emerged as the topper with an outstanding score of 693, securing an impressive 99%. Other top performers include Soumyopriyo Guru from Purulia Zila School and Udayan Prasad from Balurghat High School, who secured the second and third positions respectively.
