Tennis
legend Roger Federer, the 20-time Grand Slam champion, is in the US these days and visited the ongoing US Open for the first time since retiring.
During one such appearance, part of promotion for the 'Federer' Coffee Table Book looking into the icon's life, the Swiss ace was on the 'Today' show when he got a surprise from the
NBA
star Stephen Curry.
The Golden State Warriors' point guard made a sudden appearance while Federer was looking at a video of his effort on the
basketball
court.
The duo exchanged a warm hug, as Federer congratulated Curry on his Olympic gold medal win with the US team at the recently concluded Paris Games.
"Congrats man (on the Olympics gold)! That was unreal. Incredible shots there at the end," said Federer.
Curry replied: "They look just like the reps I just saw in the video that you had in San Francisco."
