NEW DELHI: Lucknow Super Giants head coach
Justin Langer
, aged 53, on Friday showed he still had the fire of competitiveness in him and the urge and desire to win as he schooled his side's pacer
Naveen-ul-Haq
in a push-up challenge.
Naveen, who is 24, less than half of Langer's age, couldn't keep up with his head coach in the challenge during LSG's training session ahead of the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders.
In a video posted by the franchise on their social media handle, both Langer and Naveen were seen in an intense push-up challenge and the former emerged a distant winner against the pacer.
In his first season in the IPL as the head coach of LSG, Langer has done pretty well with him and skipper
KL Rahul
managing their side's position in top four of the points table.
With 6 wins and 4 losses, Lucknow currently sit at the third spot on the table.
Although the likes of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals are breathing just down LSG's neck as the season enters the business end.
In the last two editions, LSG managed to qualify for the play-offs twice but weren't able to make it to the finals.
