India swept Afghanistan 3-0 to win the T20I series in dramatic fashion on Tuesday, when the third T20I at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium required two Super Overs to decide the winner.
Afghanistan matched India's total of 212 to tie the game in the regulation 20 overs each. But the first 'Super Over' too failed to produce a winner and ended in a tie.

Ravi Bishnoi then stepped up to take two wickets in the second 'Super Over' to trigger celebrations of India's victory.

But the Indian legend produced a brilliant effort, almost pulling off a one-handed catch with a last-second leap in the air before throwing the ball back in play as he figured that the momentum would take him beyond the ropes.

The match also witnessed skipper Rohit Sharma ending his run of consecutive ducks by delivering a dazzling century, scoring an unbeaten 121 off 69 balls. His outstanding knock propelled India beyond the 200-run mark.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli faced disappointment as he was dismissed for a golden duck.
Rohit also hit two sixes in the first 'Super Over', which played a crucial role in India levelling the scores and force the game into a second 'Super Over,' which ultimately resulted in a victory for the hosts.
