Rishabh Pant's half-century against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may have been in vain, but his assault against Venkatesh Iyer, which included a no-look shot for SIX, grabbed eyeballs as the Delhi Capitals (DC) captain took 28 runs off the over.
Chasing KKR's mammoth 272 for 7, Delhi's top order caved in within the Powerplay, leaving Pant (55) and Tristan Stubbs (54) to not just repair the damage but also bring Delhi back into the match.
The pair tried their best by hitting half-centuries while stitching a 93-run stand. However, it didn't prove enough as DC succumbed to a huge 106-run defeat, while table-toppers KKR maintained their unbeaten record, having won their all three matches.

The shot drew the attention of KKR's co-owner and Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan, who stood up to applaud.
