The ‘Galaxy AI’ features include ‘Live Translate’, a feature that allows two-way, real-time voice and text translations of phone calls within the native app. It also provides an intuitive, gesture-driven ‘Circle to Search’ feature in collaboration with Google.
PM Modi inaugurated the world’s largest mobile factory of Samsung Electronics in Noida’s sector 81 in 2018.
As Samsung intensifies its efforts to integrate AI into its flagship devices, its Indian research and development team has been making significant contributions to the creation of future ‘AI phones’.
Samsung R&D Institute India - Bangalore (SRI-B), the largest software R&D centre of the company outside South Korea, has been instrumental in developing breakthrough innovations for the Galaxy series. This has been achieved through close collaboration with Korean teams and other overseas R&D centres like Samsung Research America (SRA).
