NEW DELHI: Amidst the carnage inflicted by Kolkata Knight Riders, one particular instance that stood out as the defining moment of the match for Delhi Capitals was

Ishant Sharma

's toe-crushing yorker to

Andre Russell

.
The West Indian's ruthless hitting left Delhi clueless but Ishant kept his best for the last as he used all his experience in the last over to bamboozle Russell with an inswinging yorker.

A toe-crushing yorker caused Russell to tumble awkwardly onto the ground. By the time he managed to lower his bat, the stumps were left in a remarkable state of disarray. The ball left Russell in awe of Ishant as he was seen applauding the veteran pacer while making his way back to the dugout.

Russell cracked 41 off 19 balls laced with four fours and three sixes. He also completed 200 sixes for KKR.
The seasoned Sunil Narine and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi struck scintillating half-centuries to power Kolkata Knight Riders to an imposing 272 for seven against Delhi Capitals.

Batting first, Narine blasted 85 in a mere 39 balls while the 18-year-old Raghuvanshi smashed his way to 54 off 27 deliveries, as the DC bowlers ran for cover.
Rinku Singh also played a magnificent cameo making 26 in eight balls, continuing KKR's dominance through the innings.
