In a video shared by the host broadcaster,
Pant
says, "Mereko lagta hai innovation, Rohit bhai ke saath thode innovative ideas, bade instinct mein hai ki yaar abhi ye lagta hai ki ye kar sakte hain, ekdum result.
Proactive hain bahut zyada.
If you are trying innovations, you have to be open to different ideas. He understands the thought processes of players, because every individual has their essence, good part, bad part, but how do you cope with that, that is very important."
"He tries to understand a player's thought process, then he tried to decide whether it should be done or not. And the trust factor that he brings, he trusts people and people trust him back. So these are the things I have learned from him," Pant adds.
Rishabh Pant has indeed been a significant force behind Delhi Capitals' turnaround in the IPL. His explosive batting in the middle overs and ability to finish games with big hits have been crucial for the team's success.
Pant's leadership skills as captain have also played a role in motivating the team and making strategic decisions on the field.
The
Capitals
have climbed to the sixth position after winning three out of their last four matches - including a thrilling victory against Gujarat Titans - and go into the return match against MI with a lot of confidence.
For the five-time champions, it has been an inconsistent journey with three wins out of eight - their last being a nine-wicket loss to table-toppers Rajasthan Royals.
The two teams are delicately placed in the table. Capitals have a chance to push the top four and MI are clearly staring down a cliff.
