Watch: NYPD officers rescue man from Bronx subway tracks

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police officers jumped down onto the tracks at a Bronx subway station Monday morning to save a man who had fallen – and the dramatic rescue was caught on video. 

Body-worn camera footage shows the officers running through the Fordham Road station and jumping onto the tracks to grab the man. The three officers pull the man up and immediately started first aid, according to the NYPD.

The man had no injuries, police said. 

“No matter the assignment, New York's Finest are always there to serve all New Yorkers across the city,” said a representative of the NYPD.
