Watch: Mahira Khan's moving tribute for Bollywood star Parveen Babi

Mahira Khan recently honoured Parveen Babi by wearing expressing her admiration for Babi. Despite suffering several foot fractures, Khan participated in a photo session where she fashioned herself to evoke the essence of Babi. She also elaborated on how Babi had been a source of inspiration for her.

MAHIRA KHAN PAYS HOMAGE TO PARVEEN BABI

Pakistani actor Mahira Khan recently paid tribute to the late Indian star Parveen Babi by dressing up in a similar style and sharing her admiration for Babi. Despite recovering from multiple fractures in her foot, Khan took part in a photo shoot where she styled herself to resemble Babi. The shoot was shared on her Instagram, where she also discussed how Babi had inspired her.

The 'Raees' actor said, "oh I remember seeing this Time magazine cover, and it had the gorgeous Parveen Babi on it. It's because of that cover that I actually watched her films. Some of her songs I just love. She was so beautiful, such a style icon."

In addition to this, Khan is seen singing a few lines of a popular song from one of Babi's films.

MAHIRA TALKS ABOUT HER FOOT INJURY

Mahira Khan also shared her struggles during the shoot due to her foot injury. She shared on her Instagram Stories, "This was a tough shoot, my first since my foot injury (three fractures in my right foot to be precise). I couldn't move much and I was hating it. The team was sooo loving and caringâ€ælove you guys @lovefuryal @museluxe (sic)."

Khan is a renowned actor in Pakistan, known for her roles in films like Bin Roye, Ho Mann Jahaan, Superstar and The Legend of Maula Jutt. She has also acted in a Bollywood film, 'Raees', opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Last year, she married Salim Karim, marking her second marriage. She is also a mother to a teenage son, Azlaan.
