playoffs.
However, DC's win was marred by the backlash faced by Jindal for his animated reaction to Samson's dismissal off a catch at the edge of the boundary ropes, which required third umpire's help.

Jindal's reaction received a lot of flak on social media. But the video posted by DC shows mutual admiration between Jindal and Samson as they had a casual conversation after the game at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Watch:

The incident happened during the 16th over of RR's chase after Delhi had posted a challenging 221 for 8 on the board.
Samson, who made a stroke-filled 86 off 46 balls, hit a powerful shot off medium pacer Mukesh Kumar that nearly cleared the boundary, but Shai Hope pulled off a spectacular catch inches from the boundary rope while maintaining his balance.
The third umpire reviewed the footage and determined that Hope had not touched the boundary cushions with his feet at any point, resulting in Samson being given out.

Samson, visibly displeased with the decision, expressed his objection to the on-field umpire as he reluctantly made his way back to the pavilion. During this moment, Jindal was seemingly shouting "out hai, out hai (it's out, it's out)" in the stands, which drew criticism from social media users who felt his reaction to Samson's dismissal was inappropriate.
Delhi Capitals secured a convincing 20-run victory in the end, keeping their hopes of qualifying for the IPL playoffs alive.
