's tough time as the new Mumbai Indians' (MI) skipper continued with a second consecutive defeat, but besides the team's performance, it's Hardik's moves on and around the field that are being closely watched by fans, who have been trolling the allrounder mercilessly.
In another such incident following MI's 31-run loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad, a video of Hardik allegedly shoving bowling coach

away has gone viral and made the MI captain face fresh criticism.
Malinga was trying to hug Hardik but the skipper seemed to be ignoring it and was eager to walk away.
Ahead of
IPL 2024
, MI decided to pass the captaincy baton from their five-time title-winning skipper Rohit Sharma to Hardik, who was traded in from Gujarat Titans. Since that announcement, life hasn't been easy for Hardik, including being booed by the crowd.
MI lost their opening match to Gujarat, followed by a defeat against Hyderabad.

However, that was not the only video involing Hardik and Malinga that went viral from the
MI vs SRH
game.
Before the above incident another video that made rounds on social media showed Malinga, who was sitting with assistant coach Kieron Pollard, vacating a seat for Hardik to sit, when the MI captain was padded up as the next man in.
Pollard was about to get up for Hardik, but Malinga made the move and then walked away.
MI next host Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium on April 1.
