NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (
BCCI
) celebrated the anniversary of the monumental achievement of
Sunil Gavaskar
reaching the milestone of 10,000 runs in
Test cricket
, making him the first batter to accomplish this feat in the longest format of the game.
Gavaskar, amidst his commentary duties in Dharamshala for the fifth and final Test, fondly remembered the significant day on March 7, 1987, when he etched his name in cricketing history by crossing the 10,000-run mark in Test cricket.
