NEW DELHI: As the '

Pran Pratishtha

' ceremony of

Ram Lalla

approaches, several sports icons, including legendary cricketers

Sachin Tendulkar

and Anil Kumble, ace shuttler

Saina Nehwal

, and veteran cricketer Mithali Raj, reached the

Ram Temple

premises on Monday morning.
The gathering also includes luminaries such as IOA president PT Usha, Venkatesh Prasad, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli,

Rohit Sharma

, Harmanpreet Kaur, and

Ravichandran Ashwin

, who have been invited to attend the historic event.


Expressing her excitement, Saina Nehwal shared, "I think this is a big day for all of us. I am fortunate to have received the opportunity to be here today. We will have the darshan of Lord Ram here. So, we are waiting for that moment...I can't express my joy in words."

Mithali Raj echoed similar sentiments, saying, "I feel what one feels when they are at a very religious place...We all wanted this for a very long time, and I feel it is a calling to be here on this big occasion. It's a celebration, and we are all happy to be here and be part of the celebration."

Anil Kumble expressed his feelings, stating, "It is a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion. Blessed to be a part of this. It's very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla."


The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony is set to take place in the afternoon and will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath

, and other dignitaries.
The sports personalities join the nation in celebrating this significant and historic event at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
