The Chief Minister thanked the Indian spinner on their victory and gave Chahal a scarf and an idol.
Despite being a member of the 15-man squad, Chahal did not play in any of India's games during their winning run.
India implemented a change in their playing XI following their convincing victory in the Super 8 match on a challenging New York surface thanks to pacers.
