Led by Rajat Patidar's 32-ball 52 and useful contributions from Will Jacks (29 off 41 balls), Cameron Green (32 off 24) and Kohli (27 off 13), RCB put up a competitive 187 for 9 on the board after being asked to bat first by Delhi Capitals.

In chase, Delhi folded up for 140 in 19.1 overs despite stand-in skipper Axar Patel's fighting 39-ball 57. Yash Dayal starred with the ball for RCB, taking 3 for 20, while New Zealander Lockie Ferguson took 2 for 23.
This was RCB's fifth consecutive win, making them the first team to do so this season.

The day after the 47-run victory, RCB shared a video of some scenes from inside the dressing room, where Siraj is speaking on camera about team's five-match unbeaten run, and then being playfully teased by Kohli and Karn over his words.

"What a comeback! We were thinking about focusing on one match at a time (after losing seven of their first 8 matches this season). Whether we qualify or not (for the playoffs) is not in our control," said Siraj.

It was fine until then, but Kohli and Karn picked on the next line Siraj spoke.
"What's in our control? Fast bowler ke paas ball hai, batsmen ke paas bat hai (fast bowlers have the ball, batsmen have the bat). We have to just go and attack," said the RCB pacer.
Karn then started teasing Siraj for his choice of words, and then Kohli joined in.

This turnaround in form has pushed RCB up to No. 5 on the table with 6 wins in 13 matches giving them 12 points.
They have just one match left to play, which will be against the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 18.
