It is 'biryani time' for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) whenever they are in Hyderabad during the IPL, and it was no different ahead of their next match of this edition against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.
The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK are in Hyderabad for their away match, and the city happens to be the home town of Chennai team's former player Ambati Rayudu, fondly called 'ATR' by his friends.

Rayudu announced his retirement from cricket after the 2023 IPL season, which was also the fifth time CSK lifted the IPL trophy to become the joint most successful team alongside the Mumbai Indians.
CSK posted a video of the biryani party, as the players devoured the world famous Hyderabad delicacy, and captioned it "Super Kudumbam (family)! When Emotions Meet!"
The franchise also posted a picture from the party, where the host, Rayudu, could be seen posing for the camera alongside Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Shivam Dube and Mukesh Chaudhary.
The picture was captioned: "The Mandatory Biryani Party when in ATR's town!"
Chennai have so far played three games this season, having won two and lost one.
