GT ran close with

Sai Sudarshan

's 65 and

David Miller

's 55 in the run chase.
DC then survived

Rashid Khan

's onslaught of 11-ball 21 in the last over to register an exhilarating four-run victory.

On Thursday, the official X handle of the Indian Premier League shared a video of Axar Patel talking about the match and his role in Delhi's victory.
Axar, who hit 4 sixes and 5 fours in his knock, shared a 113-run stand with Pant.
Axar also took 3 catches and 1 wicket in the match. Axar also dropped Sai Sudarshan's catch at mid-on.
Talking about GT running close, Axar said, "Miller (David) chal raha tha aur Rashid (Khan) bhai aaye they, sabne tod phod kar diya. Miller out hua toh ek baar humne lambi saans li. Uske baad jab Sai Kishore ne aake do chakke maar gaya toh main soch raha tha ki yaar, but ant bhala toh sab bhala, 4 run se hum jeet gaye toh maja aa gaya."

DC rose to No. 6 with their fourth win in nine games, while GT slipped to No. 7 on inferior net run-rate after losing their fifth game in nine matches.
