Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphone -- X100 series. The lineup includes the X100 and X100 Pro. The new handset comes as the successor to the X90 series that was launched last year. In terms of upgrades, the X100 brings several improvements over its predecessor. In this article, we will compare the X100 Pro and X90 Pro and see what has changed between the two phones.
Vivo X100 Pro vs X90 Pro
Apart from the new camera setup, the X100 also brings an updated MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset which brings faster clock speed, improved performance and efficiency over the X90 Pro’s MediaTek Dimnesity 9200.
Design-wise, things have also changed, but slightly. The X100 Pro feels more substantial compared to X90 Pro. However, both the phones have curved displays and rounded corners with slim bezels on all sides.
It’s the camera module that has changed (it’s still circular by the way). That said, the camera housing is relatively bigger and it is centrally aligned compared to the slightly off-centred placement in X90 Pro.
Also, the vegan leather finish from the back has been replaced with more subtle matte finish glass back.
In terms of camera, the X100 Pro comes with an upgraded 50MP sensor along with better tuning and processing that’s done in partnership with Zeiss. Vivo has also fine tuned the details algorithm and colour science to offer a more vibrant, detailed and better low light photos and videos with the X100 Pro.
