Vivo launched its mid-range Y200 smartphone in India in October last year. The company has now launched a new variant of the smartphone in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker has now launched the 8GB+256GB variant of

in India. The mid-range Vivo smartphone comes with Smart Aura Light which claims to adjust to any low-light environment and smoothly switches between soothing warm and cool tones for a better photography experience.

Price and availability
The 8GB RAM and 256GB comes with a price tag of Rs 23,999. The smartphone can be purchased in Jungle Green and Desert Gold colour options. Y200 5G can be purchased in easy EMI option by paying INR 49 per day or consumers can avail cashback of up to INR 2,000 using SBI, IDFC First, Bank of Baroda, DBS Bank, Federal Bank, and IndusInd Bank, among others. On the other hand, the 8GB+128GB version of the smartphone is selling at Rs 21,999.
Vivo Y200 specifications

The Vivo Y200 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display boasting a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. This display is enhanced with a 120Hz refresh rate and can achieve up to 800 nits of peak brightness.
Driving the performance of this mid-range smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users have the option to expand the storage further by utilizing a microSD card.

Running on the Android 13 operating system, the Vivo Y200 is customized with the company's FunTouchOS 13. The camera setup includes a 64MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture, accompanied by an Aura LED light. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
In terms of security, the smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a 4800mAh battery, supported by 44W fast charging.
