A top-edge off a leg-side attempt was caught by Naman Dhir at deep square, ending Kohli's innings at 67 off 42 balls, including 8 fours and 2 sixes.
As he walked back, an angry Kohli smashed his bat and flung his gloves in the dressing room.
Earlier in the innings, Kohli also became the first Indian to breach the 13,000-run mark in
T20 cricket
and now has 838 runs at the Wankhede — one of his favourite venues.
